Desperate times required desperate measures. After the emergence of a new terrorist threat, special forces of the USSR needed new weapons and equipment. First of all, this influenced armor protection, it was necessary to develop body armor and helmets that would provide the highest possible level of protection during the combat in buildings or transport.

In the 1990s, K6-3, an analogue of "Altyn" was developed. This helmet had several minor design differences (the use of rivets, a more reliable visor mount) and also did not have a radio headset. This replica exactly repeats the appearance of the helmet and DOES NOT have protective properties. The helmet has an original suspension system, a steel visor with a steel frame for removable glass, which protects when playing airsoft. The visor can be fixed in the upper and lower positions.

The helmet has recognizable appearance and is great for re-enacting FSB in Chechen wars or other special forces in later periods.

VDV jumping helmets have been a long-standing part of airborne gear, designed to protect the head and ears during high-altitude jumps. The Flashlight 6E2 is designed for individual illumination of areas and objects, as well as for signaling with various light colors. An analogue of the Streamlight Sidewinder Compact, it features a rotating mechanism, allowing the flashlight to move in two axes when mounted on a helmet. The kit includes the flashlight and a universal helmet mount for versatile use.

The helmet STSh-81 became just such a helmet. This replica exactly repeats the design and appearance of the original helmet, but DOES NOT have protective properties. The helmet has a complex shape, consists of three separate plates, for the connection of which a special cover is used. This decision allowed to save on materials in difficult times for the country. Also, if one of the plates was damaged, it was enough just to replace one of them, not the whole helmet.

The "Sphere's" plates are made of plastic, but the cover and suspension system are made of original materials. This helmet was widely used during the Chechen wars and in other border conflicts of that time.
